"I purchased this as a gift for my husband, because I'm trying to convince him to use products with more natural ingredients. Unfortunately, this shave cream was not a hit with him. He felt it didn't lather well and the cream clogged up his razor, so it took about 3x as long to shave. (He has a very tough beard). "

"Little background on my shaving habits- I shave in the shower with warm water, I wash my face before shaving with a wash designed for pre-shave preparation, I use new and/or clean razors, shave with the grain and rinse the razor after every couple of strokes. Out of the tube it's a pleasant blue color. That's where the positives end. It has a very strong smell and my wife commented it smells like the blue masks that her grandmother put on before going to bed! I found it to be not lubricating or slippery at all. My razor was sticking to my face instead of gliding over it. There was no lubricating qualities to the product unless I applied more of it and even then it was still sticking. In the end I had to use at least a quarter sized amount to get a comfortable shave. I also got rashes after using it because I had to use much more pressure than in the past to get a close shave. Cannot recommend this product. Very disappointing. "
